Session Details:

Standard Session Fee: $50

Includes:
Outdoor location of your choice
1-2 hour coverage time
2-3 clothing changes and poses
Online gallery for 60 days
Fully retouched images (blemish removal, art effects, etc)

The session fee also includes up to 4 people ($10 for each additional person) and within 20 miles driving radius ~additional fees may apply outside of the radius.

This includes the photographer's time and talent, a pre-session consultation, a 1-2 hour session at the location of your choice and the editing and processing of your images.

A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 will be due at the time of scheduling your shoot. This will allow me to hold the day and time of your shoot. If you need to re-schedule, you may do so once without charge, but after that, a rescheduling fee of $25.00 will apply.

Fee is due at time of session. All images are color corrected, retouched and edited.

When You Book:

We will decide a date, time and location for your shoot.

*Please note that if your session is on location, the best time of day to shoot is early morning (as the sun comes up, or soon after) or in the evening (soon before, or as the sun is going down).This lighting is most pleasing and will eliminate harsh shadows and unflattering light.

We will shoot at a place of your choosing, or if you don't have a specific location, then I will choose one of my favorites. We can do your session outdoors or in your home. I work with all natural lighting, so no studio set ups.

Location ideas:

The location of your session is completely up to you. However, since I am a natural light photographer, I will need good natural light to create beautiful portraits. For outdoor sessions, open shade is very important as you don't want squinting because of the bright sun. Please remember when planning a session outdoors, early mornings, evenings or overcast days are the best time for optimal lighting.

The location can be at a favorite local park, your home, by the lake, family farm, downtown (for a more gritty, urban style which I LOVE) or other location of your choice. If you don't have a location in mind, feel free to ask me for some suggestions.

What to Wear:

*Wear what expresses your own style and personality whether it be traditional and classic or on the funky, trendy and edgy side. If we are shooting group shots you may want to coordinate your clothing but not necessarily match.

*Props are also great for expressing who you are in photos..for example, musical instruments, favorite funky chair, pets, sports gear, etc. Please discuss your prop ideas with me at the time of booking.

During Your Session:

I will spend 1-2 hours with you and we will shoot until I feel I have what I need to provide you with beautiful artwork.



After Your Session:

It will take 1-2 weeks for your proofs to be ready. I will contact you and provide you with a password for you to view your pictures in your gallery section on this site.

You may view your photos and place your print order directly through your photo gallery at http://sherrijamesphotography.zenfolio.com/ Your prints will be delivered directly to your door with no extra consultations needed. Simply order from your own home!
